The New Malay Dilemma

Traditionally the Malays been always been routing for UMNO-BN or PAS. The clear distinction of the differences of political alliance is due to relegion.

Many people and myself included previously have very high regards to the contribution of BN to the nation. Maybe it is better to say the contribution of certain individual in UMNO-BN.

Over the years and increasing awareness of politics in this country, the support dwindled tremendously The Malays has awakened in this country. They are simply fed up.

They are fed up with the unholy richness of the people in UMNO and BN, the poor management of the country and the failure to separate private assets and government assets.

They find that many of the good and honest politicians within UMNO-BN failed to get rid of the dirty politicians. This is the only reason why they are exploring for alternatives.

I scanned around the UMNO/BN representatives and see their conduct from their tweet, websites, blogs and media statements. Largely it is difficult to find an appealing character. I say difficult but not impossible.

In the last 6 months, I notice UMNO MT member who is the Deputy Higher Education Minister II (Dato Saifuddin Abdullah) seems to speak his mind. He speaks from within without fear. This is exactly what UMNO need.

They don’t need PR to scream to highlight their weaknesses. What they need is an internal “quality control system”. If UMNO can have more characters like him, then there is hope for UMNO..!
